The
Zeco Kids School Infant Backpack in Black is a versatile, well-specified children's rucksack designed for infant school pupils from nursery through to Year 2. Its
35 x 23 x 15cm frame is sized to fit small backs without overhanging, and at just 0.1kg the bag itself adds minimal weight — important when the contents already include a reading folder, water bottle, and packed lunch.
Black is the most cross-purpose colour in the Zeco infant backpack range. It sits neatly against any school uniform regardless of colour policy, and transitions easily from the school run to after-school clubs, weekend trips, or PE days without looking out of place. Made from
100% Polyester, the construction is designed to handle daily use across a full school year.
The bag includes a front pocket with a detachable pencil case — useful for keeping stationery organised and quickly accessible at the start of the school day. The main compartment is deep enough for a reading record folder, a lunchbox, and a PE kit for younger year groups. A mesh side pocket fits a standard-sized water bottle securely upright, and rubber feet on the base protect the bag when set down on wet or rough ground.
Padded shoulder straps reduce pressure on young shoulders during the school commute, and reflective strips improve visibility in low-light conditions — relevant for early starts and darker afternoons in autumn and winter. A name card slot on the back keeps the bag identifiable in a busy infant cloakroom.
This children's school backpack sits in the
