What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I use this pack when the day starts early and the objective calls for more gear. The 38-liter capacity swallows layers, food, and tools without feeling sloppy, and the E2 airbag system is fast, cold-resistant, and easy to recharge. It carries skis and a board cleanly and stays comfortable even when fully loaded."We grab the Patrol E2 38L Airbag Avypack Kit for big backcountry days that demand both space and confidence. Whether we’re skinning before sunrise, riding long fall-line descents, or covering ground on snowshoes, this pack delivers the capacity and stability needed for full-value missions. Its balanced carry keeps weight centered, helping us stay efficient on long approaches and technical terrain.Powered by the Alpride E2 electronic airbag system, the pack uses a high-speed fan and supercapacitors to provide fast, reliable deployment that isn’t affected by cold temperatures. With no cartridges to manage, recharging is quick and travel-friendly. A durable Cordura construction, bSPINE EVO support system, and versatile carry options for skis, boards, helmet, and ice tools round out a design built for demanding backcountry objectives.
