What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I ran the Baltoro 100L Pro Backpack on a ten-day traverse through the Winds last summer, carrying close to sixty pounds of gear and food, and the FreeFloat hipbelt was the reason I made it to day ten feeling as good as day one. The auto-rotating shoulder straps move with your body in a way that completely eliminates that grinding fatigue you get from a rigid suspension system on long days with a heavy load, and the U-zip front access meant I was never unpacking the entire bag just to find something at the bottom."Ten days. Forty miles of trail between you and the nearest road. A load that would break the wrong pack by day three. The Gregory Baltoro 100L Pro Backpack was purpose-built for exactly this kind of commitment, the kind of trip where gear has to perform without compromise from the first step to the last. At 100 liters, it has the capacity to carry everything a serious multi-day or expedition-style adventure demands, and the suspension system underneath that capacity is where Gregory earns its reputation. The FreeFloat A3 Pro suspension pairs dynamic flex panels with auto-rotating shoulder straps that sync to your body's natural movement rather than fighting against it, so a heavy load distributes evenly and efficiently over long miles and serious elevation. The AirCushion mesh backpanel creates genuine ventilation between your back and the pack, cutting down on the heat buildup that turns brutal days into miserable ones. A perimeter alloy frame and fiberglass anti-barreling cross-stay keep the load stable and centered over your hips, while the ComfortGrip lumbar pad holds the pack high without requiring you to cinch the hipbelt so tight it cuts off circulation. Three sizes and over three inches of adjustable torso length mean the fit is dialed before you ever leave the trailhead. Nine external pockets, a front U-zip, a floating top lid, and oversized hipbelt pockets mean everything you need on the trail is exactly where you expect it to be.
