What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This jacket nails the balance between bomber weather protection and mobility. The articulated fit is awesome when I’m moving in technical terrain, and I love the little touches like the pass pocket on the forearm and the massive internal stash pocket. The pit zips dump heat fast, and the GORE-TEX 3L fabric is as reliable as it gets for storm days." We turn to the Outdoor Research Hemispheres Team GORE-TEX 3L Jacket when deep snow and stormy skies demand serious protection. Developed with input from OR’s snow athlete team, this freeride-ready shell is built to handle the harshest conditions with confidence. The recycled nylon 3-layer GORE-TEX construction with a C-KNIT backer keeps us dry, breathable, and mobile as we chase powder lines from first chair to final lap. This jacket is loaded with rider-driven features that matter in real conditions. A helmet-compatible hood with a wire brim locks in coverage on storm days, while pit zip venting regulates body heat during the climb. YKK Aquaguard zippers secure every pocket and closure, including the forearm pass pocket, oversized internal mesh stash pocket, and chest storage for essentials. With an articulated fit for unrestricted movement and details like hook-and-loop cuffs, an elastic drawcord hem, and multiple hood adjustments, the Hemispheres Team Jacket is built to move with us across every aspect of the mountain.
