What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I like this jacket for long days when I’m layering a lot. It’s warm, stretchy, and tough enough that pack straps don’t wear it down—super dependable as a midlayer."We pull on the Aconcagua ML Jacket when chilly morning starts call for warmth that won’t limit our stride or scramble. Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™ fleece brings a soft, mobile feel that moves cleanly across steep switchbacks, ridge traverses, and technical approaches. Moisture vapor escapes quickly during high-output climbs, and the jacket dries fast when the weather turns or the pace eases.Reinforced exterior fabrics resist abrasion from packs and rock, giving the jacket the durability to handle repeated use across seasons. A high collar adds warmth on windy traverses, zippered pockets keep essentials close at hand, and thumb loops hold sleeves securely in place during transitions. Whether layered under a shell or worn alone on crisp days, the Aconcagua ML Jacket supports steady movement across a wide range of mountain missions.
