What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “I like wearing this when the forecast calls for storms and cold temps. The GORE-TEX shell keeps snow and wind out while the insulation adds enough warmth for long chairlift rides. The underarm vents are great for cooling off after a hard run, and the powder skirt does a solid job keeping snow out on deep days.”When storms roll across the mountain and powder stacks up overnight, we zip into the Cloud Bank GORE-TEX Jacket from Mountain Hardwear and head for the lift. Designed for all-mountain performance, this insulated shell keeps us dry, warm, and comfortable while we chase fresh lines through trees, bowls, and wide-open groomers. The 2-layer GORE-TEX laminate delivers dependable waterproof and breathable protection that shields us from snow, wind, and wet conditions. Targeted synthetic insulation adds warmth where it counts without feeling bulky, keeping us comfortable during frigid chairlift rides and stormy laps. Mesh-backed underarm vents help release excess heat when the pace picks up, while the helmet-compatible hood and integrated powder skirt seal out blowing snow. With multiple secure pockets, wrist gaiters, and a relaxed fit that layers easily, this jacket is ready for everything from storm riding to bluebird powder days.
