What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Minimalist Pertex Jacket is my go-to for wet-weather hikes and backpacking trips. It’s lightweight, packs down small, and gives me full confidence when the rain rolls in. The pit zips keep me from overheating, and the water-resistant zippers and taped seams make sure I stay dry. I also love how the pockets sit above my pack’s hip belt, so I can easily grab snacks or my map on the go."When dark clouds gather, the Minimalist Pertex Jacket keeps us moving forward. This ultra-light, trail-ready shell is built with Pertex® Shield Revolve fabric, delivering durable, waterproof, and windproof protection without the bulk. Fully taped seams and a C0 DWR treatment provide leak-proof confidence, ensuring we stay dry through relentless rain and whipping winds. When the climb gets steep, pit zips let us vent heat, while an adjustable hood, cuffs, and hem help us lock in warmth when the storm intensifies. Designed for backpackers, hikers, and climbers, this shell’s pack-compatible pockets and streamlined fit make it an essential companion for unpredictable weather in the backcountry.
