What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The MTN Surf Recycled Jacket is the one I reach for when I know the day is going to be long and the conditions are going to be unpredictable. The body-mapped fabric layout moves with me whether I'm skinning up or dropping into a steep line, and the 20K waterproofing has held up through everything from midwinter storms to spring slush. The vents are large enough to actually make a difference when the output picks up."The alarm goes off before sunrise, the skin track starts in the dark, and the descent doesn't happen until the afternoon clouds have already rolled in twice. Days like that demand a jacket that can keep pace without complaint, and the Jones MTN Surf Recycled Jacket is exactly that kind of partner. Its body-mapped construction pairs two 100% recycled 20K waterproof and 20K breathable 2-layer fabrics where each performs best, giving the jacket a technical foundation that holds up through long approaches and hard-charging descents alike. The relaxed, articulated fit leaves room to move without sacrificing coverage, and the minimalist powder skirt keeps snow out when the riding gets aggressive. A helmet-compatible hood with cord-lock adjustment locks in protection when the weather turns, while zippered underarm vents let heat escape on high-output efforts without unzipping the whole front of the jacket. Internal and external pockets handle everything from a pass to a phone to a spare layer, so the focus stays on the mountain and not on what's missing from the kit. For riders who go hard from first chair to earned last run, the MTN Surf Recycled Jacket is the one that goes with them.
