What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "These are my go-to resort pants when I want something that looks low-key but still handles storm days. The chino fit is flattering but not tight, and the 60g insulation keeps me warm on cold lift rides. Plus, the Zip Tech system seals out snow like a dream." We want warmth and performance without looking overly techy—and that’s exactly what the Volcom Frochickie Insulated Pant delivers. Blending streetwear-inspired chino styling with fully functional mountain tech, this pant offers a clean, tailored look while still giving us waterproof protection and breathable comfort on the hill. The 10K V-Science 2-layer construction and non-fluorinated DWR shed snow with ease, while low-loft insulation keeps the chill off during long lift rides and snowy sessions.Critically taped seams, a triple reinforced rise, and the Zip Tech jacket-to-pant interface lock out the cold and wind, while brushed tricot-lined pockets and a specialty ticket ring round out the thoughtful details. Whether we’re carving groomers or heading straight to après, these pants keep us warm, dry, and on point.
