What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I have been reaching for the Jester 22L Backpack on everything from long commutes to half-day hikes, and the FlexVent suspension system makes it genuinely comfortable to wear for hours without the usual shoulder fatigue. The stand-up design sounds like a small thing until you are trying to pack it in a hurry and realize you are not fighting the bag to stay open while you load it."The best everyday pack is one you stop thinking about entirely, one that just works whether you are heading to class, catching a trail before work, or hauling gear to a friend's place across town. The North Face built the Jester 22L Backpack around that idea, pairing a women's specific FlexVent suspension system with enough organization to keep a full day's worth of gear exactly where you need it.The FlexVent system is ACA certified, featuring a flexible injection-molded yoke, a padded back panel, and a breathable lumbar panel that keeps airflow moving even when the pack is loaded up and the day is warm. The main compartment is roomy enough for books, layers, and a 16-inch laptop in its dedicated padded sleeve, while the front compartment handles the smaller daily essentials with zip pockets, a tablet sleeve, and a key hook. Two water bottle pockets keep hydration within reach, and the stand-up design makes loading and unloading faster and easier, whether you are rushing out the door or repacking at the trailhead.
