What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I have been skiing the Voodoo on resort days and backcountry tours, and the 130 flex delivers real lateral stiffness and edge hold without making the boot feel dead underfoot. The progressive forward flex feels natural through the telemark motion, and the 60-degree cuff rotation makes skinning significantly more comfortable on long approaches."Telemark skiing asks more of a boot than almost any other discipline, demanding precision on the descent and freedom on the climb, and the Scott Voodoo Ski Boot is engineered to deliver both without forcing a tradeoff. Built around a Pebax Rnew shell with a 130 flex index and integrated overlap construction, it brings lateral stiffness and edge control that inspire confidence on groomed resort runs, tracked-out powder, and variable backcountry conditions alike. The smooth, progressive forward flex moves naturally with the telemark motion, so each drop-knee turn feels connected and controlled rather than forced. When the terrain demands uphill travel, the Voodoo transitions readily. A 13-degree forward lean with free walk mode and 60 degrees of cuff rotation gives the ankle meaningful freedom on skin tracks and technical bootpacks without requiring a separate touring mechanism. The PWR Telemark High liner with thermo and memo fit foam molds to the foot over time for a personalized fit that improves with every outing, and three Ergal micro-adjustable buckles with lock catches and a Velcro strap let you dial in support precisely for the conditions at hand. For tele skiers pushing their craft on both sides of the skin track, the Voodoo brings an ideal balance of drive and mobility that earns its place in a serious quiver.
