What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I have been skiing the SEA Poles on powder days and variable snow, and the 7075 aluminum shaft feels noticeably stiffer and more confidence-inspiring than standard alloy poles at this price point. The wide 85mm basket floats reliably in soft snow, and the Notch 2.0 grip works equally well with gloves or mittens, which is exactly what I want on a big freeride day where conditions can change throughout the run."Powder days call for gear that keeps up, and the Scott SEA Poles are built to do exactly that without asking you to spend at the very top of the market to get there. Constructed from Scott's best alloy to date, the 7075 aluminum shaft is twice as strong as the industry standard, delivering a stiff, confidence-inspiring pole plant on everything from groomed groomers to deep untracked lines. At 230g, they stay light enough to move freely through a full day of vertical without weighing down the cadence that keeps powder skiing feeling effortless. The wide 85mm powder basket provides reliable surface contact in soft snow, so the pole plants where you want it every time, and the Notch 2.0 grip is designed to work comfortably with both gloves and mittens, so your hand position stays natural regardless of how the morning layers up. An FX 15x25 strap keeps things secure through aggressive skiing without restricting movement on the ascent or traverse, and an ice steel tip grips firmly when the snow firms up through the afternoon. Finished with a bold SEA waves and mountains graphic, the SEA Poles bring a visual energy to the mountain that matches the ambition of the skiing they were built for.
