What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've been riding the Brigade Index MIPS in the park and on freeride lines all season, and it checks every box. The Custom Dial 360 V system lets me fine-tune the fit both vertically and horizontally so it sits perfectly with my goggles, and knowing the whole helmet is fully recyclable at the end of its life makes it an easy choice to feel good about."Most helmets ask you to choose between protection and sustainability. The Salomon Brigade Index MIPS refuses that tradeoff, delivering top-end safety technology in what is the first fully recyclable ski and snowboard helmet on the market. Built with at least 96% of its materials from the same origin, it's engineered so that nothing is wasted when your riding days in it are done. The protection underneath that commitment is serious. MIPS Brain Protection System works alongside EPP4D technology to maximize energy absorption from both oblique and vertical impacts, covering the range of forces that real falls actually produce. The injected shell keeps the construction light and durable, while the MaxFit V-shaped ear pad design creates an immediate, snug fit right out of the box. Custom Dial 360 V adjustment lets you dial in the fit both horizontally and vertically for a precise interface with your goggles, and built-in airflow channels keep temperature consistent across long days on the hill. When the day is done, the removable liner pulls out easily for a full wash.
