What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This shell is built for serious mountain adventures. The 3-layer Pertex® Shield fabric is tough enough to handle rock scrapes and pack abrasion while remaining lightweight and breathable. I love the pit zips for venting heat on the ascent, and the adjustable hood keeps me covered when the weather turns. It’s my go-to for everything from alpine hikes to fast-moving scrambles."When the weather refuses to cooperate, the Firewall Jacket steps up to the challenge. Built with 3-layer Pertex® Shield fabric, this shell is a fortress against wind and rain while remaining breathable for high-output days. Whether we're navigating rugged ridgelines or trekking through relentless storms, its durable 40D construction stands up to the toughest conditions.Designed with mountain athletes in mind, this jacket doesn’t just protect—it performs. The adjustable hood provides full coverage, even in downpours, while the underarm vents allow us to dump heat on steep climbs. Thoughtful details like the YKK® storm-sealed front zip, secure hand pockets, and adjustable cuffs ensure we stay dry and comfortable in unpredictable conditions. When the mountains call, the Firewall is the shell we trust to answer.
