What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “I reach for this parka when winter is cold and wet. The waterproof protection makes a huge difference in heavy snow, and the extended length keeps drafts at bay. It’s warm without feeling bulky, and the fit leaves room to layer comfortably on truly frigid days.” We zip into the Stormcraft Down Parka when winter weather refuses to cooperate but staying inside isn’t an option. Designed by Outdoor Research for cold, snowy days around town and beyond, this parka blends classic down warmth with serious weather protection, letting us move through winter streets without worrying about soaking through or freezing out.Lofty down insulation traps heat efficiently, while the fully waterproof construction stands up to wet snow and slushy conditions that lesser jackets can’t handle. The mid-thigh length adds extra coverage where it counts, and a fixed, insulated hood with a soft chin guard boosts comfort when wind and snow pick up. With a relaxed fit and plenty of pocket space, this parka is built for long winter days spent outside—no matter what’s falling from the sky.
