What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “I keep these gloves around for all the in-between winter jobs—scraping ice, changing a tire, buckling boots, or hauling gear. The leather holds up to abuse, and the lining stays warm without getting clammy. They’re simple, tough, and exactly what I want when I need my hands to work in the cold.” We pull on the Aksel Work Glove when winter demands real work, not delicate handling. Designed by Outdoor Research for cold-weather chores and everyday outdoor tasks, these gloves strike a balance between durability and comfort that keeps us moving even when temperatures drop. They’re the kind of gloves we grab without thinking because they just get the job done. The tough leather exterior stands up to rough use, from wrenching on gear to digging around in snowy trunks, while the wool-blend lining traps warmth and manages moisture when our hands start working hard. An elasticized wrist seals out cold air and keeps the fit secure, making these gloves a dependable companion for long winter days spent outdoors.
