The On Running Kids' Cloudsurfer Trainers in Navy are the performance running option in the On Running kids' range at Childsplay Clothing — a step up from the lifestyle Cloud Sky 2 and Cloud Play 2, built for children and teenagers who actually run. Where the Cloud Sky 2 is designed for everyday wear and casual sport, the Cloudsurfer is On Running's dedicated road running shoe, engineered for sustained running with a more technical construction and a higher-performance CloudTec® sole configuration.
Available in EU 35.5 to EU 39 (UK 3–6.5), unisex, and part of the Mini-Me, PE Kit, and Activewear collections at Childsplay Clothing. The Navy colourway is the most versatile in the Cloudsurfer range — it works for running, school PE, and casual wear without looking overtly sporty. Made in Vietnam with sustainability credentials across the range, AW2026.
Buying Advice
The Cloudsurfer is priced above the Cloud Sky 2 and Cloud Play 2, reflecting its more technical construction. For children who run regularly — running club, cross-country, athletics, or regular training — the Cloudsurfer is the more appropriate choice. For children who want an On Running trainer primarily for everyday wear and light activity, the Cloud Sky 2 at a lower price point is the better option. On Running trainers generally run true to size; if between sizes, sizing up half a size is the safer call. The Navy colourway is the most practical for running use — it shows less dirt than White and is more versatile than brighter colourways.
