What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I took the Norrøna Falketind Flex1 Pant on a long mountaineering objective that started on a glacier approach and ended with a technical ridge scramble, and they handled every part of the day without complaint. The full stretch flex1 fabric moves with every step, and the thigh vent on the back kept airflow moving on the steepest sections where I was generating the most heat."The mountains do not care what you are wearing, but the right pant makes a real difference across a long day on technical terrain. The Norrøna Falketind Flex1 Pant is the brand's lightest and most breathable mountaineering pant, built for the kind of objectives that demand a full range of motion without sacrificing durability or weather protection. The flex1 fabric delivers full stretch in every direction alongside windproof protection and serious breathability, covering the demands of high-output efforts across variable mountain conditions. A gusseted crotch and adjustable lower leg with zip and gusset keep movement unrestricted from hip to ankle, while thigh venting on the back and side dumps heat efficiently on steep approaches where layering up is not an option. A Custom-fit waist system with belt loops dials the fit precisely for different conditions and load-bearing situations, and four pockets, including a zippered thigh pocket, keep essentials organized and accessible on the move. Built with more than 50% recycled fibers, Bluesign and Oeko-Tex certified fabric, and a PFC-free DWR finish, the Falketind Flex1 Pant holds up to the demands of the mountains and the standards of the people who love them.
