The
New Balance Girls 327 Bungee Lace Logo Trainers in Pink are a retro running-inspired girls’ designer trainer made in Indonesia from a synthetic upper, featuring bungee lace fastening, an oversized lug outsole, and New Balance’s signature ‘N’ logo detailing. The colourway is Pink Haze — a soft, muted pink with a dusty, slightly washed quality that sits closer to a blush or vintage rose than a bright or saturated pink.
The 327 is one of New Balance’s most distinctive silhouettes, drawing on the brand’s 1970s running archive. The oversized lug outsole — a chunky, deeply grooved rubber sole originally designed for trail and cross-country running — gives the 327 a bold, textured profile that sets it apart from both the 9060’s layered midsole and the 740’s cleaner retro running shape. The bungee lace system replaces traditional laces with an elasticated cord and toggle, allowing the shoe to be put on and taken off without tying — a practical feature for primary school-age girls who want independence with their footwear.
Buying Advice
Fastening: The bungee lace system is designed for ease of use — the elasticated cord stretches to allow the foot in, then the toggle is used to adjust the tension. It provides a secure fit without requiring lace-tying, making it well suited to children who are still developing that skill or who need to change shoes quickly at school.
Fit: The 327 has a standard-width fit. New Balance Kids runs true to size — use foot length from the size guide rather than age, particularly as this listing covers a primary school age range where children’s feet vary significantly within the same age group.
Styling: Pink Haze is a versatile, easy-to-style tone — it pairs naturally with white, cream, grey, and denim, and works with both casual and more put-together outfits. The oversized lug outsole gives the trainer a strong visual presence, so it works best with relaxed silhouettes — wide-leg trousers, casual dresses, or joggers — rather than slim or structured pieces.
Care: Spot-clean the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The lug outsole can be cleaned with a soft brush to remove dirt from the grooves. Air dry naturally — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
