Size & Fit Guidance
Most reviewers find the fit true to size with a secure, supportive feel. For the best fit, we recommend starting with your usual size; if you prefer extra room in the toe area, wear orthotics, or like a more relaxed fit, you may prefer a little more space, while some longtime 990 V4 fans note this version can feel slightly roomier than earlier pairs.
Best For
Best for everyday wear, long hours on your feet, walking, travel, and light workouts where comfort and stability matter most.
Cushioning & Road Feel
Expect a balanced ride that leans supportive over ultra-soft. Reviewers often call out the smooth heel-to-toe transition, steady underfoot feel, and cushioning that stays comfortable through walks, errands, and daily miles.
Break-In & Durability
Many reviewers say the 990 V4 feels comfortable right away, while others find it settles in even more after a few wears. Once in rotation, it earns consistent praise for lasting quality through frequent walking, travel, and everyday use.
