What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This piece is my secret weapon for layering on long tours or chilly trail mornings. It’s soft, breathable, and never feels bulky under a shell. The scuba-style hood fits snug under my helmet, and the built-in neck gaiter is a game-changer for cutting wind."We rely on the Up First Tech Fleece Hoodie when the morning air bites and the uphill grind calls. Designed as a hybrid base and midlayer, this hoody provides all-day warmth, stretch, and moisture control in one sleek silhouette. The brushed fleece interior feels plush, while the built-in neck gaiter and snug-fitting hood keep the chill out when the wind kicks up.Underarm gussets and raglan sleeves allow for total mobility, even when layered under shells or vests. Thumb loops keep everything dialed, and a zippered chest pocket stashes small essentials securely. From summit pushes to casual layers on road trips, the Up First Hoodie earns its spot in our kit season after season.
