What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore this on a few cold ski mornings and it worked perfectly as a midlayer under my shell. The fleece feels really soft but still breathes well when you're moving, and the reinforced elbows are a nice touch when you're hauling gear or leaning against rough surfaces."Cold mornings at the trailhead or first chair on a powder day call for warmth that stays breathable while we move. Mountain Hardwear built the Powder Maven Fleece Full-Zip Jacket as a cozy midlayer that handles snowy hikes, lift laps, and relaxed après afternoons.Ultra-soft recycled fleece provides dependable warmth while staying breathable enough for active days in the mountains. The brushed fabric traps heat during cold lift rides or breezy ridgeline breaks, while stretch knit cuffs and hem help seal in warmth when temperatures dip. Reinforced elbow overlays add durability where packs and gear tend to rub, making this fleece a reliable companion for seasons of winter use.
