What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This sun hoodie is a game-changer for desert hiking and high-altitude adventures. The UPF 50 protection is serious business, and I love how the three-piece hood covers my neck completely. The thumbhole cuffs stay put during scrambles, and the fabric breathes incredibly well even in 90-degree heat."Intense heat has never deterred our outdoor pursuits, and neither will harmful UV exposure thanks to the Mountain Hardwear Crater Lake Hoodie. This comprehensive sun protection system allows us to hike, climb, and explore confidently without concern for skin damage. The innovative three-piece hood shields both front and back neck areas, while thumbhole cuffs secure sleeves in position, enabling the lightweight, moisture-managing fabric to deflect solar radiation during summer's most intense conditions.
