What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"These shorts are perfect for hotter days or steep trail runs. The liner feels supportive without being tight, and the recycled stretch fabric dries incredibly fast. The small back pocket fits a key or gel and doesn’t bounce around. They stay comfortable even when the pace jumps."We take the Unpaved 3in Lined Short out on early climbs, dusty switchbacks, and long runs where heat builds quickly and movement matters. Marmot’s lightweight recycled nylon blend gives us a breathable, barely-there feel, and the built-in mesh liner keeps everything stable as our stride opens up. Even as the effort increases, the quick-drying fabric works with the rising temperatures, never clinging or slowing us down.An encased elastic waistband with a drawcord helps us fine-tune the fit before the run begins, and drop-in pockets keep essentials handy when we’re heading to the trailhead or warming up. The zippered back pocket holds a key or small fuel securely when the pace is steady and the terrain starts to shift. Purpose-built for high-output days, these shorts focus on running comfort that never distracts from the miles ahead.
