What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I keep these in my pack because they’re quick to pull on when the weather surprises you. The stretch makes a big difference on climbs, and the ankle zips are a lifesaver for getting them over boots in a hurry."We count on the PreCip Evo Pant when miles stack up and the sky refuses to commit. Marmot’s NanoPro™ waterproof membrane provides breathable protection through steady rain and passing showers, while the recycled nylon ripstop shell adds durable stretch that keeps our stride relaxed over roots, wet slabs, and switchbacks. Lightweight and low-bulk, the pants disappear in our pack until the moment conditions turn.Easy-entry ankle zippers make pulling them on over boots quick and frustration-free, and once we’re moving, the elastic waistband and internal drawcord hold the fit secure without restricting our pace. Zippered hand pockets and a zippered back pocket protect small essentials that need to stay close. When the clouds finally lift, the pants compress neatly into their own pocket for tidy storage. With dependable weatherproofing, simple on-trail function, and comfortable mobility, the PreCip Evo Pant stays ready for every uncertain forecast.
