What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I reach for the Aerothermal 1/2-Zip on skin track mornings and cool evening hikes alike because it manages heat so well you barely notice you are wearing it. The PrimaLoft Active Evolve insulation feels genuinely fleece-like against the skin, and the ripstop shell takes the casual brush against rock and trailside brush without flinching."The best midlayer is one that disappears into the activity, and the Marmot Aerothermal 1/2-Zip Pullover is built exactly for that feeling. PrimaLoft Active Evolve insulation mimics the soft loft of a traditional fleece while adding the breathable temperature regulation that active pursuits demand, keeping the body warm enough at the belay and comfortable enough on the climb without requiring a layer swap in between. At just eight ounces, it sits in the pack or over a base layer without adding any detectable weight to the day.A 100% post-consumer recycled polyester ripstop shell gives the outside of the pullover just enough structure to deflect light brush and casual abrasion while staying soft and packable in hand. Raglan sleeves open up full range of motion for everything from pole plants to overhead reaches, and elastic-bound cuffs and hem keep the fit dialed through movement. Zippered hand pockets hold a phone or warm a pair of cold hands between efforts, and the half-zip collar lets airflow in fast when the pace picks up without fully committing to venting down. From the skin track to the coffee shop, this pullover earns its place in the rotation every single day.
