What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I used the Eiger Nordwand 28 on a technical climb in the Tetons, and it quickly became my favorite alpine pack. The ULTRA™ fabric is impressively tough, and the clean, minimal shape never snags on rock. It’s dialed for mountain missions, especially with the customizable hook system and precise fit."We count on the Mammut Eiger Nordwand 28 Pack for summit pushes, icy couloirs, and all-day alpine climbs where gear failure isn’t an option. Born from the Eiger Extreme collection and developed with Mammut athletes, this pack is laser-focused on performance, durability, and ultralight simplicity. Its abrasion-resistant and waterproof ULTRA™ fabric holds up to granite and snow, while the reinforced base protects against wear during rocky belays. The new Eiger Hook System lets us dial in our gear organization, and the minimalist silhouette sits close to the body without restricting movement. Designed specifically for shorter torsos with a refined shoulder harness and hip belt, the Eiger Nordwand 28 is an alpine climbing essential.
