What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The Lazer Z1 KinetiCore is the helmet I recommend when someone wants serious ventilation and lightweight construction without the MIPS tax. KinetiCore handles rotational impact through integrated crumple zones built directly into the EPS foam rather than a separate liner, which keeps weight down and the protection profile strong. At 220 grams with 33 vents and a floating headband, it's one of the most comfortable road helmets I've worn on hot days. The RollSys fit system dials in quickly and stays put through a full ride."On a long summer ride, a helmet either works with you or against you. Lazer's Z1 KinetiCore comes down firmly on the right side of that equation — 33 vents and a floating headband move air continuously so heat never builds into a distraction, and at 220 grams the weight disappears within the first mile.KinetiCore technology integrates rotational impact protection directly into the EPS foam construction through engineered crumple zones, absorbing both direct and rotational forces without the added weight of a separate liner system. The Advanced RollSys fit system adjusts at the top of the helmet for a precise, stable fit across head shapes, and specific vent channels provide easy eyewear storage mid-ride. Polygiene Biostatic treatment keeps the interior fresh across long days and back-to-back rides without requiring constant washing.
