WHAT IT DOES:
The first step of the L'Extrait Advanced Protocol, The Elixir Lotion is infused with Lancôme's latest innovative rose discovery, Absolue Blackbiosis, along with proxylane and rose damascena water. The superfine mist sprays onto skin, leaving a moisturizing veil evenly on the skin. Immediately, skin feels comfortable and fresh and is hydrated, lasting up to 24 hours. In 4 weeks, skin feels smoother, suppler and more toned, skin is radiant and texture looks refined. The L'Extrait signature rose fragrance is encapsulated in the exclusive micro-mist texture, a luxurious formula that does not noodle or leave skin feeling sticky.
The L'Extrait Elixir Lotion uses Lancôme's Absolue Roses, sourced exclusively from the Plateau Valensole in the South of France. Their latest breakthrough ingredient, Absolue Blackbiosis, is crafted from an extremely resilient and adaptative micro-ferment from the root of the rose. This precious ingredient was identified through an advanced screening of their exclusive terroir; in the total darkness at the depths of the Plateau Valensole. This ingredient is extracted in the total darkness in an optimal environment to maintain its integrity before it is formulated into this highly sensorial formula.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
- Absolue Blackbiosis is a micro-ferment extracted from the root of the Lancôme white rose. The extract from this ferment is used in this formula and is known to help protect the skin barrier and improve radiance.
- Proxylane, developed by L'Oréal and originally derived from sugar, is known to help increase skin firmness and tone.
- Rose damascena water is known to help hydrate, soothe and refresh the skin.

HOW TO USE IT:
For best results, use twice a day as the first step in your skincare routine, after cleansing your skin.
- Step 1: Apply the lotion by spraying three times to cover the whole face. Starting with the first spray on the forehead moving downward toward the nose tip. Continue with the second spray on the left cheek moving downward toward the chin. Repeat this action on the right side of the face for the third spray.
- Step 2: Warm your hands by rubbing them together.
- Step 3: Press warmed palms onto the forehead, cheeks and chin, beginning at the center of the face and working outward to the sides of the face. Gently press until product is absorbed.
Note: Spray at a minimum of 15 cm from face with eyes and mouth closed during application. Do not intentionally inhale. Wipe the excess product on the eyes and mouth.
