What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This jacket has been my go-to for storm riding and long tours—the 30K waterproofing is bombproof, but the stretch fabric keeps it from ever feeling restrictive. I’m a big fan of the thoughtful details like the chest pockets for organizing gear and the pit zips for venting when I’m working hard. It’s one of those shells that’s equally at home on big missions and resort storm days."From storm days at the resort to dawn patrol missions deep in the backcountry, the Jones Snowboards Shralpinist Stretch Recycled Jacket is built to keep us dry, protected, and moving freely in the harshest conditions. The 3-layer, 30K/30K recycled stretch fabric offers full waterproof and windproof protection without sacrificing mobility, so every bootpack and skintrack feels natural. Fully taped seams, YKK Aquaguard zippers, and a PFC-free DWR finish provide complete storm defense.Attention to detail makes this shell stand apart. A helmet-compatible hood, adjustable hem and cuffs, and a minimalist powder skirt work together to keep snow on the outside. Thoughtfully placed pockets—two external chest, one forearm pass, and an internal chest—give us plenty of secure storage for essentials, while pit zips provide on-demand ventilation. RECCO technology adds peace of mind when venturing into avalanche terrain. Rugged, responsible, and ready for big lines, the Shralpinist Jacket is a shell we can trust season after season.
