What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've put the MTN Surf Recycled Pants through full resort days, backcountry tours, and even some zero-degree sessions, and they've never once let moisture in or made me think about my outer layer. The body-mapped construction moves with you whether you're skinning up or dropping into tight trees, and the thigh pockets with internal phone sleeves are one of those details that just makes the whole day run more smoothly."The best gear is the kind that stops being gear and just becomes part of the day, and after a few sessions in the Jones MTN Surf Recycled Pants, that's exactly what happens. The body-mapped construction combines two 100% recycled 20K waterproof and 20K breathable fabrics in a layout tuned to how riders actually move, pairing a four-way stretch shell where mobility matters most with durable ripstop reinforcement where abuse is highest. The result is a pant that flows through deep carves, crouches into technical terrain, and keeps up with whatever the mountain puts in front of it.Jones lined these pants with recycled stretch polyester to add a layer of warmth that makes a real difference on cold mornings without turning the pant into something stiff or heavy. Durable powder gaiters seal the cuffs against snow intrusion when things get deep, reinforced inner cuff fabric handles the boot edge wear that kills lesser pants over time, and side seam vents open up on high-output laps when the body needs to breathe. Deep thigh pockets with internal phone sleeves, a zippered back pocket, and fully taped seams round out a pant built to handle everything from first chair to the last skin track of the season without a single compromise.
