What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I use the Merino 260 Quantum Hoodie as both a midlayer and a standalone on crisp fall hikes. The 100% merino wool makes temperature management effortless, and the updated cut really does improve mobility when you’re wearing a pack. It’s super comfortable, layers cleanly, and the pockets stay usable even with a hipbelt."We reach for the Icebreaker Merino 260 Quantum Long-Sleeve Zip Hoodie when cool-weather miles call for warmth that naturally adapts to our effort. Icebreaker’s full-merino construction delivers the temperature regulation, softness, and breathability we count on, whether we’re powering up a frosty ridge or layering under a shell for stormy days. With the brand’s refined fit and updated seam lines, the Quantum moves smoothly with us, reducing friction under backpack straps and letting us focus on the trail ahead.Thumbhole cuffs and a fitted hood add extra coverage when winds pick up, and zippered pockets stay accessible even with a pack clipped around our hips. Ultra-functional yet comfortable enough for everyday wear, this hoodie bridges technical performance and daily versatility with ease.
