What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “I like this for hard-effort days in the cold when a standard merino top feels too warm. The zoned ventilation actually works, and the crew neckline layers cleanly under midlayers. It stays comfortable even when intensity ramps up.”High-output days in cold conditions demand baselayers like the Merino 200 ZoneKnit Long Sleeve Crew: merino wool, body-mapped designed that adapt as your effort changes. From steady aerobic work to short bursts of intensity, this top helps regulate heat without constant layering adjustments. The midweight 100% merino construction uses ZoneKnit technology to map eyelet mesh into high-heat zones for improved airflow. Flatlock seams help reduce friction, while a gusseted design supports unrestricted movement.
