What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I grab the Lifa Merino Midweight Hoodie for pretty much any winter activity. The two-layer construction is legit—merino on the outside for warmth and odor resistance, Lifa next to skin to wick moisture fast. The low-profile hood layers cleanly under a helmet, and the fit never feels bulky. It’s a super versatile piece whether I’m touring, riding lifts, or just heading out on a frosty morning."We turn to the Helly Hansen Lifa Merino Midweight Hoodie when cold conditions demand a baselayer that balances warmth, breathability, and comfort. With merino wool facing outward for insulation and natural odor resistance, and Lifa fibers inside for quick moisture transport, this hoodie thrives through shifting effort levels—keeping us warm on the descent and dry on the climb. The low-profile hood adds adaptable coverage that slips easily under helmets and hoods, while the smooth, midweight construction layers cleanly beneath shells for long days in the mountains. Whether we’re setting out for predawn ski tours, bundling up for a windy ridge hike, or easing into a chilly morning commute, this piece keeps our comfort dialed in from the first step to the last lap.
