The Guess Girls Padded Bomber Jacket in Brown is a clean, unfussy outerwear piece for older girls and teens, available in sizes 7 to 16 years. Where the brand's leopard print puffer is a statement jacket, this one is the opposite — a plain brown bomber that works as a versatile layering piece across a wide range of outfits and occasions. The brown colourway is a considered choice: it's warmer and more distinctive than black or navy, but just as easy to style.
The padded bomber silhouette is a consistently popular format in teen outerwear — it's relaxed enough for everyday use, structured enough to look intentional, and the bomber cut works over everything from school clothes to weekend outfits. At £80, it's priced at the same level as the brand's oversized pink bomber, and the plain construction means the quality of the fabric and fit does the work rather than a print or colour.
It's part of our For Mom collection, which flags it as a style that works for mother-daughter coordinating — the brown colourway and classic bomber silhouette translate well across age groups. Made in China as part of the AW2026 collection. A practical, well-priced designer girls' padded jacket for the older end of the kidswear market.
Buying Advice
Sizing: Available in 7 to 16 years — a wider range than most Guess outerwear, covering primary school age through to mid-teens. Check the size guide measurements for chest and length, particularly for older girls who may be closer to adult sizing.
Brown as a neutral: Brown works as a neutral in the same way as camel or tan — it pairs naturally with cream, white, navy, khaki, rust, and black. It's a warmer alternative to grey or navy for parents who want something a bit different from the standard outerwear palette.
Layering: The padded construction and bomber silhouette work well over a hoodie or chunky knit for colder days. The fit is relaxed enough to accommodate a mid-layer without feeling restrictive.
Teen styling: For older girls (12–16), this jacket works well with wide-leg jeans, cargo trousers, or a midi skirt — the bomber silhouette balances well against fuller-cut bottoms. For younger girls (7–10), it works over leggings or slim-fit jeans.
Care: Check the garment label before washing. Padded jackets generally benefit from a gentle machine cycle; tumble dry on low with tennis balls to redistribute the fill after washing.
