What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I switched to the Sario MIPS Snow Helmet after wanting MIPS protection without jumping to a higher price point, and it delivers exactly that without cutting corners on comfort. The dial fit system gets me locked in quickly on the chairlift, and the ventilation keeps my head at the right temperature whether I am lapping groomers or working through technical terrain in the trees."The mountain rewards commitment, and the Giro Sario MIPS Snow Helmet is built for riders who bring it every single run. Whether the day is spent laying down long carves on open groomers or threading through tight tree runs in variable snow, having the right protection overhead changes the way you ride, and MIPS technology is now the standard for anyone who takes that seriously.Giro integrated the MIPS® Brain Protection System into the Sario to add a low-friction layer that redirects rotational forces during angled impacts, the kind most commonly encountered in real snow sports falls. The impact-absorbing liner works in concert with the in-mold shell construction to manage direct hits, while the dial fit system delivers a personalized, snug fit that stays locked through dynamic movement without pressure points building up over a long day. An advanced ventilation system keeps airflow moving and temperature regulated from first chair through the final run, and an integrated goggle retainer keeps your eyewear exactly where it belongs regardless of what the terrain asks of you.
