What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve been wearing this popover on the hottest afternoons, and the ultralight Madras fabric keeps things noticeably cooler. The shorter sleeves give it a casual vibe while the button-down collar keeps it neat, and that front placket makes it easy to pull on and go."When the day heats up, and we want something simple, breathable, and easy to wear, the Madras Short-Sleeve Popover Shirt steps in with effortless comfort. Filson’s lightweight Madras cotton brings airy softness right away, giving us a warm-weather layer that feels good whether we’re moving through town or settling into an easy afternoon outside. The pullover design keeps things streamlined, while the five-button front placket and button-down collar offer a clean, structured look. We appreciate the center-back box pleat for added mobility, especially on days when we’re in constant motion, and the single flap chest pocket adds a subtle, functional detail. It’s a shirt built for summer pace—unhurried, breathable, and ready for whatever’s ahead.
