Dr. Barbara Sturm announces the launch of the newest addition to her high performance Super Anti-Aging Collection and the companion to her best-selling Night Serum, the Super Anti-Aging Night Cream. Whilst we’re sleeping, the skin moves from protect to repair mode: essential hormones such as Melatonin and HGH start to rise and accelerate skin's repair and cell regeneration, helping the body to detoxify from excess metabolic and oxidative damage and to fight off free radicals, whilst preventing further damage (such as wrinkles, lines and hyperpigmentation) from occurring. As we age and cellular skin functions slow down; detoxification (our skin's ability to repair the effects of oxidative stress), becomes less effective, cell renewal decreases and the skin produces fewer natural oils, whilst free radicals and oxidized protein waste accumulate, preventing the skin from effective repair and regeneration. Dr. Sturm's Super Anti-Aging Night Cream optimizes the skin’s detox processes with a special peptide from the Avocado, which helps eliminate oxidized protein and helps the body regenerate proteins, lipids, and cells that have been damaged during the day due to free radical oxidation. It also contains an exclusive DBS Night System™ - a three-fold, advanced science system which fully supports the skin’s nocturnal renewal processes and leaves cells completely hydrated so that they’re able to function effectively and focus their energy on repair and rejuvenation. Instant Hydration: Power moisturizer Polyglutamic Acid, which is up to five times stronger than Hyaluronic Acid, instantly hydrates the surface of the skin, plumping fine lines and wrinkles, perfecting skin barrier repair and preventing transepidermal water loss. Intensive Detoxification: Antioxidant-rich Avocado Peptides boost detoxification whilst helping to deeply hydrate the skin so that it can concentrate its efforts on repair and rejuvenation. Avocado Peptides also stimulate the continuous production of collagen fibers for youthful-looking skin. Anti-Inflammatory Repair: Hyaluronic Acid and Purslane strengthen the skin’s natural barrier function, soothe inflammation, and provide intensive hydration at both the surface and deeper skin layers, improving skin elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The formulation also includes Nonapeptide-1, which has been shown to activate and strengthen the skin's microcirculation, helping skin shift quickly from repair to protect mode, Purslane, an anti-aging, anti-inflammatory powerhouse, which is a key ingredient in Dr. Sturm’s skincare, and Vitamin E, whose antioxidant properties may be effective at reducing UV damage in skin. When applied at night, the Super Anti-Aging Night Cream works whilst you sleep for a noticeably rested, refreshed, and smoother-looking complexion by morning. How to Use:
After cleansing, apply gently to the face, neck and décolleté as well as the delicate skin around the eyes.
We recommend application in the mornings and evenings for more mature skin.
Younger skin types can integrate the SUPER ANTI-AGING FACE CREAM into their regime a few times a week, alternating with their usual Dr. Barbara Sturm moisturizer.
