What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "The Scout is such a great kids’ boot—it’s light, super easy to tighten with the BOA dial, and soft enough to keep them comfortable while they learn. The Grow Insole is clutch too, since it means the boot lasts more than one season as their feet get bigger." We set up our young riders with the DC Scout when it’s time for a real snowboard boot that makes progression fun and frustration-free. Designed with a soft flex, the Scout gives kids the maneuverability they need to build skills with confidence—whether they’re linking turns for the first time, riding powder with us, or playing on small park features. The BOA M3 lacing system makes it easy for kids to tighten their own boots with a simple twist, while linerless construction keeps things lightweight and hassle-free. Inside, the Grom Grow insole extends the life of the boot by adapting as feet grow, giving kids more time in a proper fit. Paired with TX3 laces for smooth performance and a flex rating of 3/10, the Scout is a soft, easy-riding boot that helps groms stay comfortable, confident, and stoked on every run.
