Enhance your stargazing experience with the Celestron 11" Dew Heater Ring, a premium, high-quality accessory designed to elevate the performance of your Celestron telescope. This innovative and functional dew prevention solution is specifically tailored for 11" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (manufactured 2006 or later), EdgeHD, and RASA optical tubes. Its stylish and durable aluminum construction ensures longevity and reliability during your nocturnal observations or astrophotography sessions. The Dew Heater Ring's unique design replaces the standard plastic retaining ring on your Schmidt corrector lens, enabling direct and efficient heating across the lens surface. This direct heating method is superior to traditional heating bands or strips, as it provides the most effective transfer of heat, ensuring that your lens remains dew-free even in the most challenging conditions.Installation is a breeze, with a straightforward process that allows the Dew Heater Ring to permanently mount to your telescope, ensuring it's always ready for action. Once installed, simply connect the ring to an external 12V DC power source for consistent and continuous heat distribution. This proactive approach to dew prevention guarantees clear and accurate views without the disruption of moisture accumulation. The Celestron Dew Heater Ring is not only functional but also comes equipped with practical features for cable management. It includes two storage clips to secure the power and thermistor jacks when not in use, as well as a cable management clip that attaches to the telescope's front cell. This thoughtful design prevents cable tangling and reduces strain on the connections, maintaining a clean and organized setup. The comprehensive package includes the Dew Heater Ring, a cable management clip, a power jack extension cable, and a paper installation shield, providing everything you need for a seamless integration with your telescope. For those seeking the ultimate in dew prevention and power efficiency, pairing the Dew Heater Ring with a Smart DewHeater Controller (sold separately) is highly recommended. The controller intelligently adjusts the heat output based on ambient temperature, humidity, and the temperature of the Schmidt corrector lens. This smart technology not only prevents dew effectively but also conserves power, significantly extending battery life. The Celestron Dew Heater Ring also comes with an extension cable, making it compatible with the Smart DewHeater Controller or third-party controller's heater output port, offering versatility and ease of use.In summary, the Celestron 11" Dew Heater Ring is the perfect blend of style, durability, and innovation, crafted by a reputable brand known for its high-quality optical equipment.
