You really never notice a headset until you have one go south on you. If you are building a new bike from scratch or looking for a high quality replacement, Cane Creek 110 Series headsets should be on a very short list as their offerings are some of the finest quality on the market. The 110 Series line is the brand's top model and is fully backed with a 110-year warranty. This is truly a headset that is likely to transfer from one frame to another and end up in your final will. Tapered headtubes can vary greatly from tops and bottoms, so Cane Creek wisely offers uppers and lowers as separate pieces ensuring you can order the right application for your needs on either end. The 110 Series ZS44/28.6 Short Cover Top is a zero-stack model that presses into 44mm inner diameter headtubes and has a total stack height of 8mm. The 7075 cups are machined in house at Cane Creek's facilities in Fletcher, NC and the specially made, sealed, angular contact bearings are constructed from stainless steel. The headset is offered in red, blue, black, gold, or silver so you can add a little bling to your ride. Enjoy friction-free steering and creak-free performance now through the next century.
