What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This jacket hits the sweet spot between performance and comfort. The waterproofing holds up in serious snow, the insulation is warm without being bulky, and the Room-to-Grow system means it’ll last more than one season—which is a win for parents and kids alike."Built for blizzards, lift rides, and snow fort construction sessions, the Hillslope 2L Jacket from Burton delivers the protection and warmth young riders need to stay outside longer. The waterproof 2-layer DRYRIDE shell keeps snow and slush out, while recycled ThermacoreECO insulation adds low-bulk warmth that performs even in wet conditions. The jacket's thoughtful features make a difference on the mountain and off. A helmet-compatible Contour hood provides reliable coverage without limiting vision, and the zippered pockets—including a media sleeve—keep small essentials close at hand. Inside, Burton’s Room-to-Grow technology extends the jacket's life by adding a little extra length when it's needed most. Whether it’s their first season or their fifth, this snow-ready shell is made to keep up.
