What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Lopez Panama Straw Bucket Hat through a full day of hiking coastal trails, and the 3.5-inch brim kept the sun off my face and neck every step of the way. The moisture-wicking sweatband held its position without slipping even when the temperature climbed, and the open weave meant I never once felt like I was trapping heat under the crown."Pull it on at sunrise, and it is still working at four in the afternoon. The Lopez Panama Straw Bucket Hat leads with a 3.5-inch wide brim that puts UPF 45+ coverage exactly where you need it, shading your face and neck through the longest days without weighing you down. Brixton hand-weaves each one from 100% Panama straw, so the hat you get has its own character built into every strand. When the temperature climbs, the open weave fretwork pulls heat away from the crown and keeps air moving so you stay comfortable well past the point where other hats start feeling like a burden. The internal adjustable moisture-wicking sweatband locks the fit in place as the day warms up, and the heat-branded interior logo is the kind of quiet detail that signals a hat built with real intention. Wear it on the water, on the trail, or anywhere the sun has something to say.
