What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Pace Jacket for a series of hard interval sessions on frozen mornings, and the softshell build blocked the wind without ever feeling stiff through my poling motion. The lighter panels on the arms kept me from overheating once my heart rate climbed. It's the jacket I reach for whenever the forecast calls for cold and effort in equal measure."There's a specific kind of morning that calls for the Pace Jacket from DAEHLIE, the kind where the thermometer sits well below freezing but your training plan doesn't care. Zip up, step onto the trail, and settle into a pace that turns the cold into background noise rather than an obstacle. The 3-way stretch softshell moves through every diagonal stride and double pole push, while the wind-resistant front and water-repellent finish hold up against the elements a hard session throws at you. Elastic Polartec panels at the back and underarms open up ventilation right where your body runs hottest, and the brushed inner neck keeps things comfortable when the collar sits close. Two zippered hand pockets and an elastic hem and cuffs round it out for a jacket built to disappear into the effort.
