What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I ran the Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3 Bikepack Tent on a four-day mixed-terrain route and it handled every part of the trip exactly how I needed it to. The 12-inch Shortstik Poleset strapped to my handlebars without any awkward overhang, and the daisy-chain webbing on the compression sack made attaching it to the frame completely straightforward. At the end of the day the tent went up fast with the TipLok buckle system, and the two vestibules gave me enough room to stow muddy gear without dragging it inside."The ride ends when you find a flat spot, not a moment before. That is the whole premise behind the Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3 Bikepack Tent, a shelter engineered from the ground up for the kind of adventure that starts on pavement, gets interesting on gravel, and ends somewhere you did not plan on being until you got there. At 2 pounds 13 ounces on trail, it practically disappears into your setup, and the 12-inch Shortstik Poleset is sized specifically to strap cleanly to handlebars, panniers, or a saddlebag without throwing off your handling or eating into your luggage space. The solution-dyed fabric resists UV fade through long days in the sun while dramatically reducing water and energy use during manufacturing, a process that improves fabric quality at the same time it reduces environmental impact. Two doors and two vestibules give a three-person crew real entry and exit options, and the low vent feature on the vestibule doors keeps air moving through the night without sacrificing coverage when weather rolls in. Inside, a 3D shelf above your feet, ceiling pocket, media pockets, and multiple gear loops make the most of every inch of interior space. Daisy-chain webbing on the fly exterior handles wet kit, elastic webbing on the tent body corrals your helmet, and the TipLok Tent Buckle simplifies setup at the end of a long day when your hands are tired and the light is fading.
