What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I started using the Tiger Wall Platinum Footprint after a rocky campsite left some scuffs on my tent floor, and it has been a non-negotiable part of my setup ever since. The HyperBead fabric sheds moisture so effectively that even on a damp meadow site my tent floor stayed completely dry underneath, and at 5 ounces it adds almost nothing to my pack weight."A great tent is a significant investment, and the Big Agnes Tiger Wall Platinum Footprint is the simplest way to protect it. Big Agnes engineered this footprint from 30D recycled nylon ripstop treated with a 1500mm silicone and polyurethane waterproof coating, giving you a durable barrier between your tent floor and whatever the ground has to offer without any intentionally added PFAS chemistry in the process. The Proprietary HyperBead fabric technology sheds moisture aggressively on damp soil, muddy campsites, and dewy meadow pitches, keeping the underside of your Tiger Wall Platinum dry through conditions that would otherwise work their way through an unprotected floor over time.At just 5 ounces for the two-person version the footprint adds negligible weight to an ultralight kit, and it packs down small enough to slip alongside your tent body without disrupting your pack organization. Compatibility with the fast-fly setup means you can use the footprint as part of a minimalist shelter configuration when the forecast looks clear and you want to save every ounce, extending the versatility of your Tiger Wall Platinum system across a wider range of conditions and trip styles.
