What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I trust this boot for technical approaches and via ferrata where stability really matters. The leather upper feels supportive without being restrictive, the sole edges well on rock, and the crampon compatibility adds versatility for snow crossings. It’s a serious boot for serious terrain."When routes get steep, rocky, and demanding, we rely on the Freney Evo Mid Leather Boot to keep us moving with confidence. Designed by Asolo for alpine hiking, via ferrata, and heavy-load treks, this boot blends precise foot control with the protection needed for high-consequence terrain. The Perwanger leather upper delivers durable, water-resistant performance while allowing natural movement through the ankle. Inside, the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining keeps feet dry and breathable across changing conditions. A stable polyurethane midsole with EVA shock absorption smooths out long descents, while the Vibram 1229 Mulaz outsole provides dependable grip and edging precision on rock.
