What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve taken these boots out on mellow tours and longer backcountry treks, and they’re a dream for all-day comfort. The leather upper feels sturdy but supple, and the Alpitex membrane really keeps moisture out. They’ve got that ideal mix of warmth, flexibility, and support—perfect for exploring new terrain with confidence."When we venture off the groomers and into fresh snow, the Alpina Pioneer Light Ski Boot keeps us steady, warm, and dry from first step to summit. Handcrafted in Europe for precision and quality, this touring boot combines rugged materials with refined engineering to deliver reliable performance in the backcountry. The premium leather upper and Alpitex waterproof membrane block out snow and moisture while allowing heat and vapor to escape. Inside, the anatomically designed footbed cushions every stride, ensuring lasting comfort even during long traverses. With a medium flex that balances control and comfort, and a Rottefella XP sole for secure grip and glide, the Pioneer Light is built for skiers who crave exploration beyond the beaten path.
