What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"When I want to dial in speed work without wearing out my carbon race shoes, I reach for the Evo SL. It feels snappy underfoot with LIGHTSTRIKE PRO, and it’s crazy light for how much cushioning it has. The grip from the Continental™ rubber keeps me grounded on wet roads, too. Great for intervals, tempos, or even race day."When it’s time to push the pace, the adidas Adizero Evo SL Running Shoe is what we lace up. Built for race training—and even race day itself—this lightweight neutral trainer is engineered for speed with a propulsive ride and just enough support for all-out efforts. From short intervals to full marathon distance, the Evo SL brings serious energy to every stride. At just 224 grams, the men's Evo SL keeps things featherlight thanks to a woven mesh upper and adidas' LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam. A unique stiffening element, top-loaded into the midsole, boosts energy return and smooths transitions without weighing down your turnover. With a 39mm heel stack, 7mm drop, and a Continental™ Rubber outsole, this shoe brings confident grip and responsive speed to any surface.
