A high-potency vitamin A concentrate formulated with liposome-encapsulated retinol and two retinoid esters at a combined concentration of 1%. Enriched with a proprietary complex of fermented botanicals with natural retinol-alternative activity, this retexturizing and renewing treatment improves skin’s texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and uneven skin tone. Leaves skin looking visibly smoother and more youthful. Dermatologist tested. Key Ingredients: Base: A blend of natural esters with emollient and repairing properties. Retinol: Stimulates the proliferation of epidermal cells and increases the thickness of the epidermis. Visibly retexturizes skin surface and helps reverse signs of skin ageing. Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate: A cosmetic grade ester of all-trans retinoic acid. Demonstrates activities of pure retinol without side-effects. Retinyl Linoleate: A retinoid, meaning an ester formed between retinol and linoleic acid (Vitamin F). Provides dual effect of retinol and linoleic acid. Proprietary Botanical Blend: A unique botanical blend containing 6 plant extracts rich in Vitamin A: Sweet potato, Pumpkin, Carrot, Tomato, Kale, and Squash. Shows retexturizing and renewing properties. Phospholipids: Major building components in the structure of cellular membranes. These natural, skin-identical ingredients demonstrate excellent moisturising, repairing and protective properties. Squalane: Mimics natural skin lipids and thereby reinforces skin barrier, replenishes lipids, prevents moisture loss and restores skin's suppleness. Vitamin F: A complex composed of polyunsaturated essential free fatty acids; linoleic acid and linolenic acid, derived from safflower oil. Restores and reinforces lipid barrier function and prevents transdermal water loss (TEWL). Ethyl Linoleate: A stable form of linoleic acid. Once applied to skin, it is converted to linoleic acid and provides all the skin benefits of linoleic acid with improved skin permeability. Panthenyl Triacetate: Shows soothing, anti-irritating and wound-healing properties. Vitamin E (Tocopherol): Tocopherol is an excellent moisturizer that helps to reduce water loss and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. Coco-Caprylate/Caprate: Act as a fast-spreading emollient with excellent moisturizing, skin-conditioning and refatting properties. AHA ester: An ester of lactic acid which is an alpha hydroxy acid. Shows excellent emollient, conditioning and skin-softening properties. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: An ester derived from coconut oil and glycerin. Shows excellent emollient, moisturizing and skin-replenishing properties. Cocoglycerides: A blend of vegetable-derived triglycerides with excellent emollient, skin-conditioning and protective properties. Isoamyl Laurate: An ester of vegetable origin with emollient and skin-conditioning properties. Dicaprylyl Carbonate: An ester which acts as a fast-spreading emollient. How to Use:
Use nightly as an all-over face and neck treatment or to target specific areas. Apply a small amount to fingertips and gently tap into the skin. Follow with the next step in your skincare routine. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day.
Due to the nature of active ingredients, this formula is expected to change color or darken over time. It is recommended to store the bottle in a cool, dark place.
Caution: In the first few weeks of use, retinol can cause transient redness, peeling and irritation. If this occurs, we recommend reducing the frequency of retinol application until your skin builds tolerance and becomes more comfortable.
